Key Responsibility Areas

• Providing a skilled clinical support for all Primary Health Care Clinics.
• Providing input into policy decisions on drug selection at all clinics in the District.
• Provide input to the planning for the delivery of comprehensive Primary Health Care.
• Undertaking Medico-legal responsibilities for management of non-accidental injuriesincluding child abuse by examination and completion of relevant documentation, including court appearances.
• Ensures provision of high-quality Primary Health Care.
• Complies with all departmental protocols, policies and standard treatment guidelines, Essential.
• Medicine List (EML) for PHC, Adult Primary care (APC) and the municipality’s code of conduct.

Essential Requirements

• MBCHB (NQF Level 8) or equivalent as recognised by Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Dispensing Certificate.
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 5 Years relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements

• 6 years relevant experience working at Primary Health Care level
