• Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about financial transactions? We’re seeking a Settlement Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate transaction settlements while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Some of your key responsibilities will include: 

• Timeous settlement and execution of transactions in accordance with set procedures and 
• regulatory requirements. 
• Timeous settlement and execution of client requests, settlements and queries in accordance with set procedures. 
• Accurately capture instructions timeously 
• Accurate record keeping in a safe and secure manner

What will you bring to the role?                 

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent 
• Diploma/Degree in Finance and Investment or equivalent / currently studying towards 
• The qualification (would be an advantage) 
• Strate exams (If not, should be willing to obtain this qualification)
• Experience in Settlements ( + -2 years experience)
• Knowledge of the Dealing desk (Will be an advantage) 
• Knowledge of Strate 
• Corporate Action knowledge (an advantage) 
• Financial Market knowledge (an advantage) 
• Knowledge and understanding of the CSDP Department environment 

Technical Skills 

• Computer literacy 
• MS Word 
• MS Excel 
• MS Outlook 
• Scrip knowledge (an advantage) 
• Fortress knowledge (an advantage)
