OHSAS 18001:2007, SAMTRAC, SHEMTRAC, Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments, Legal Compliance Assessments, Construction Regulations, and other relevant HSE training.
HACCP, PRP, and other related Food Safety training.
Minimum of 5 years of industry-related experience.
Thorough knowledge of relevant safety, security, and environmental legislation.
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
Working knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety systems.
Exceptional ability to manage the implementation and administration of health and safety and Food Safety systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement OH&S and Food Safety management plans in collaboration with the National SHERQ Manager.
Formulate OH&S and Food Safety standards for projects, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
Maintain current OH&S and Food Safety policies, procedures, standards, and methodologies, reporting any non-compliance to the DC and SHERQ managers.
Ensure the establishment and adherence to OH&S and Food Safety management systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
Stay well-informed about relevant safety, security, and environmental legislation, including OHSACT, COID ACT, Environmental Conservation Act, and ISO standards.
Oversee the implementation and administration of health and safety and Food Safety systems.
