    Group Accountant

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

    • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Degree.
    • Completed Articles training to become a Chartered Accountant will be preferred.
    • CA(SA) recommended.
    • Experience in financial accounting field.
    • Logistics or courier business experience.
    • South African citizen with a clear criminal record

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • Ability to manage own work to ensure deadline achievement.
    • Good planning and organising skills.
    • Ability to communicate at all levels.
    • Advanced Computer skills in MS Office with Advanced Excel skill
    • Attention to detail, meticulous.

     MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Compiling of monthly Shareholders’ packs
    • Working with the Business Units on monthly reporting packs
    • Group cash flow reporting and management
    • Group Consolidations (consolidating about 8 entities)
    • Due Diligence process, if required
    • Compiling of investment papers for potential acquisitions
    • Supply a support function to start-up companies or new acquisitions
    • Management of Group P&L
    • Evaluating business processes in the Business units to improve efficiencies and profitability
    • Working with BUs on the distribution of daily/weekly dashboards
    • External and audit management and assistance
    • Budget planning and assistance with BU and Group budget process

    Factory Manager

    Qualifications

    • Certification in Machine Setting/Product Processing
    • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
    • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, 5S or equivalent for process improvement.
    • Additional operational certifications (e.g. Supply Chain, Quality) are beneficial.
    • Project management certification a bonus

    Knowledge and Experience

    • Min 5-10 years of direct manufacturing management experience managing a production process with more than 30 staff (indirect or direct reports).
    • At least three years in a senior decision-making role directing the processing of plastic parts
    • Fulfilled roles wholly responsible for an annual budget over R1mil.
    • Proven track record in managing manufacturing operations, especially in plastic injection moulding and assembly.
    • In-depth understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
    • Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
    • Baseline technical skills in injection moulding processes and machinery.
    • Solid understanding and experience in proactive and reactive machine maintenance plans and implementation processes
    • Proven successful project management track record
    • Strong proficiency using MS Office, specifically Excel and data/reporting apps.
    • Proficiency in using manufacturing software for production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
    • Knowledge of and experience in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems

    Industry Experience

    • Extensive experience in plastic injection moulding and assembly.
    • Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities in the plastics manufacturing industry.
    • Solid understanding of:
    • Plastics and how they behave
    • The various forms of plastic processing
    • Product design process
    • Product development process
    • Tool design, manufacture & functioning
    • Direct exposure and involvement in IM Machine Setting/Product Processing

    SHERQ Officer

    Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

    • Grade 12
    • OHSAS 18001:2007, SAMTRAC, SHEMTRAC, Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments, Legal Compliance Assessments, Construction Regulations, and other relevant HSE training.
    • HACCP, PRP, and other related Food Safety training.
    • Minimum of 5 years of industry-related experience.
    • Thorough knowledge of relevant safety, security, and environmental legislation.
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
    • Working knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety systems.
    • Exceptional ability to manage the implementation and administration of health and safety and Food Safety systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement OH&S and Food Safety management plans in collaboration with the National SHERQ Manager.
    • Formulate OH&S and Food Safety standards for projects, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
    • Maintain current OH&S and Food Safety policies, procedures, standards, and methodologies, reporting any non-compliance to the DC and SHERQ managers.
    • Ensure the establishment and adherence to OH&S and Food Safety management systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
    • Stay well-informed about relevant safety, security, and environmental legislation, including OHSACT, COID ACT, Environmental Conservation Act, and ISO standards.
    • Oversee the implementation and administration of health and safety and Food Safety systems.

    IT Manager

    Key Qualifications:

    • IT Diploma/Degree
    • ITIL Certification
    • ICDL Certification (or equivalent)
    • Microsoft Certification (Server & Desktop)
    • Network Infrastructure Certification

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Achieving and maintaining server, network, and application infrastructure availability.
    • Managing IT expenses within budget targets.
    • Leading and executing IT projects.
    • Collaborating with departmental managers and executives on IT requirements.
    • Developing and implementing global and local IT standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Serving as the security coordinator for Cyber and Information Security and Identity and Access Management.
    • Managing internal control systems for IT and overseeing annual audits.
