Our client is seeking a Qualified Electrician (Fixed-Term Contract) with industrial electrical experience to join their team. The successful candidate will be comfortable working at heights, including on top of cranes, and will have experience within an automotive or factory environment.
Requirements
Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical experience.
Comfortable working at heights and willing to work approximately 12 metres above ground level, including on top of cranes.
Experience in an automotive or factory environment, with exposure to electrical distribution.
Project experience, including the ability to compile Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Experience in drawing and interpreting electrical diagrams.
Forklift licence will be advantageous.
Safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding within an industrial environment.
Work on electrical distribution systems and associated equipment.
Carry out electrical work on cranes and other equipment, including working safely at height.
Assist with electrical projects and compile Bills of Quantities where required.
Prepare and work from electrical diagrams and drawings.
Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
