Shop Specialist - Watches at Crew Life at Sea

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the watch shop, including sales, inventory management, and customer service onboard the cruise ship
• Provide exceptional customer service to onboard guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up to date on industry trends and new releases
• Create and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and meet sales targets
• Train and supervise a team of sales associates, ensuring they are knowledgeable and providing excellent customer service
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing shop
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with other departments onboard to promote and market the watch shop
• Assist with visual merchandising and displays to showcase products effectively
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety and security measures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in luxury goods
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in one or more of the following languages is strongly preferred: German, French, Spanish, Italian
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Knowledge of watches and luxury brands preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents
