Silo Manager - Zastron at OVK - Group

Main purpose of the position:

• The effective management of the Silo to ensure optimal profitability.

Minimum Requirements:              

• Grade 12;
• 4 years Grain/Silo experience;
• Fumigation certificate;
• Grain grading certificates completed;
• Previous experience is the supervision and/or management of staff.

Skills:

• Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Computer literate;
• Strong administrative skills and organisation ability;
• Experience in the management of budgets and costs;
• Strong leadership skills;
• Sound knowledge of the market and business environment;
• Business insight.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Silo to budget;
• Management of staff;
• Management of customer service;
• Ensure sound financial practices within the department;
• Manage Silo administrative functions.
