Job Brief:

• Vehicle checking as per checklist
• Matching dual tyres on vehicles (all tyres in a dual position must be matched in size and tread design, tyres with a 3mm difference must be rectified.)
• Tyres must be sent for Retreading on a weekly basis if there is production.
• A job card must be filled in with all tyre details
• Job cards needs to be loaded into the system to allocate tyres.
• Generate own brand numbers on excel spread sheet on a monthly basis
• Stock take should take place on a weekly basis.
• Inventory snapshot must be printed from system to check stock.
• Arranging the collection of scrap tyres
• Survey needs to be done on a monthly basis with no less than 95% of the fleet inspected in a month. If there is outstanding vehicles communicate with controllers to bring the vehicles to the Depot.
• Attend to breakdowns within a 300km radius (A bakkie is provided)
• If there is new tyres fitted on a breakdown, tyre needs to be removed A.S.A.P and a brand number must be allocated to the new tyre.
• All new tyres received on site must be registered on the system.
• Provide tyre fitters with monthly: Torque sheets, Pressure sheets, Branding register and Cleaning roster
• Ensure all tools that is used by the tyre bay is up to standard.*

• Valid driver’s license
• Excel experience
• Matric/Grade 12
• Breakdown experience
• Tyre knowledge
