• We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 Solutions Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing industry, with at least 15 years of total experience and 5+ years of experience in enabling digital transformation in Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 areas. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication, interpersonal, and business development skills.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactive Business Development: Lead business development, presales, and solutioning efforts on industry domain topics in manufacturing.
• Sales and Account Engagement: Regularly engage with sales and account teams to promote business development.
• Industry Focus Areas: Define and develop industry focus areas, offerings, and solutions for manufacturing in alignment with strategic account needs and industry trends.
• Technology and Consulting Collaboration: Work actively with technology and consulting practices to create industry-specific offerings and solutions.
• Industry Ecosystem: Establish an industry ecosystem in partnership with ISVs, hyperscalers, and other technology and service partners.
• Analyst and Advisor Engagement: Lead industry analyst and advisor engagement and support marketing initiatives on industry topics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 15 years of total experience, with 5+ years in digital transformation in Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
• Manufacturing Expertise: Strong experience in the manufacturing industry, including IoT and Big Data Analytics.
• Industry Trends: Well-versed in prevailing trends in manufacturing.
• Strategic Development: Experience in defining industry focus areas, creating industry offerings, and go-to-market (GTM) solutions in manufacturing.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, research, and analytical skills.
• Business Development: Proven success in presales, solutioning, and consultative business development.
• Proactive and Self-Starter: Ability to multi-task and drive strategic conversations with business stakeholders and C-level executives.
• Technology Understanding: Strong understanding of technology and its applications to solve industry and lines of business transformation.
• Strategic Execution: Ability to devise and execute upon a strategy.

• Leadership: Demonstrated success in winning large transformation deals in industry domain areas.
