5 -8 years' experience in designing, executing and managing evaluation projects programme design methodologies or just designing programmes design and implementation of service delivery or organisational performance monitoring and reporting dealing with complex service delivery data analysis doing research work (preferable topics related to social, economic and other themes related to the business of local government) strategy development any data collection, collation and analysis exposure
Core Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of performance audits, audit of performance against predetermined objectives, financial (basic) and non-financial information analysis, and quality assurance (plans and reports) function
Provide strategic capability and leadership to manage a functional unit within the division in a manner that is accountable for the delivery of set objectives within specified time frames and costs
Conduct operational processes to utilise understanding of policy, laws, regulations, initiatives and relevant industry practices to plan, make recommendations and apply changes
Ensure governance and risk management is conducted to provide feedback on governance, risk and compliance practices and escalate unresolved issues via appropriate channels for investigation and resolution
Ensure financial processes are in place to ensure that financial administration delivery processes comply with internal control and governance standards and report on any deviations
Provide customer service orientation to ensure effective operations management service delivery within the division, ensuring compliance with the Batho Pele principles
