Provide technical support to managers and engineers with respect to practical application of technical solutions. Manage resource allocation and indicate timeously resourcing needs towards the execution of projects and support to operations.
Responsible for developing, installing, managing and/or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes. This will guide colleagues in the instrumentation & control and production fraternities to ensure plant availability and efficient operation.
Key Accountabilities
Broad base of instrumentation and control engineering knowledge.
Ensure proper maintenance and improvement of all DCS applications in area of responsibility and by giving input to the maintenance, improvement strategies and philosophies. Manage interface with all stakeholders in control environment.
Ensure correct level of representation of control engineering on projects.
Ensure correct support with implementation of new control hardware and software.
Ensure correct governance and support on all projects past gate 4-6 (HAZOP, LOPA and SIL reviews, MFD reviews, FAT & SAT, Loop checks, commissioning support) Experience on the following Technologies
