BCom Degree or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
3 - 5 years' experience in a finance environment within local government
Experience in asset management will be an added advantage
Core Responsibilities:
Oversee, control and supervise that the assets of CoE are properly managed, accounted for, and are properly recorded in the fixed assets register
Perform operational processes to ensure that the operational processes are achieved within the agreed parameters of SOPs, quality standards and service targets
Ensure governance and risk management to identify and manage governance and risk expose liability
Perform financial processes to ensure compliance with the MFMA and other financial-related legislation
Ensure customer service orientation to provide quality and effective customer service to all relevant stakeholders
