    Snr Specialist: Proc Gov& Change Control

    Core Description

    Responsible for Procurement policy, governance and processes within the company to enable good governance, enable business and a positive customer experience. Ensure that these policies & processes are applied, enhanced and continuously reviewed. Responsible for the business design and implementation of an effective Procurement, Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management frameworks, including business modelling, business processes and business architecture. Ensure continuous alignment/ re-alignment with business strategy and the development, implementation and tracking of Strategic and High-Risk Supplier Performance Management framework and Supplier Risk Management.

    Job Responsibilities

    Develop and maintain Procurement policy, governance, processes and frameworks

    • Interpret business plan and define goals, objectives and targets
    • Compile implementation strategy and action plan
    • Develop, enable, implement, monitor and improve change management process and governance
    • Develop reports and tools to monitor compliance to the procurement policy, governance framework and processes
    • Track compliance to the procurement policy, governance framework and processes
    • Review, monitor and track deviations to the procurement policy, governance and procedures
    • Document and categorize change requests
    • Assess change risks and benefits
    • Plan change requirement and rolling back if unsuccessful
    • Develop, design and testing of change requirements
    • Development, implementation and tracking of supplier risk management model
    • Development, implementation and tracking of supplier Code of Conduct
    • Ensure adherence to governance, processes and change approval process
    • Implement and review change
    • Track and assess impact of change
    • Develop, enable, implement, monitor and improve change management reporting
    • Manage responses to change effectively to ensure customer satisfaction 
    • Ensure disruptions to change are identified and managed
    • Manage conflict effectively
    • Compile processes dependency diagrams and project plans
    • Identify relevant role players in accordance with dependencies
    • Set up meetings with the role players to discuss the roles and responsibilities and possible areas of improvement and conflict
    • Obtain mutual agreement on the resolution of issues, meetings required and the delivery of the inter-dependent outputs and results

    Education

    • NQF 6: 3 year Diploma/ National Diploma

    Experience

    • 7 Years relevant experience, of which at least 2 years on management level
