Snr Specialist: Valuations: FINA20456 at City of Ekurhuleni

Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma in Property Valuation / Real Estate / Property Studies or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
• Registration as Professional Associated Valuer or Professional Valuer with SACPVP
• 3 - 5 years' experience in a property valuation environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Compile the valuation roll for implementation in terms of the Municipal Property Rates Act Amendment 6 of 2004
• Proper communication, control, training, and development of the valuation personnel subordinate to comply with relevant legislation stipulated by COGTA and MPRAA
• Implement and advise on strategic capability and leadership to ensure that divisional / sectional goals and objectives are met
• Perform operational processes to ensure that work outputs are achieved within agreed deadlines and standards
• Ensure governance and risk management to ensure compliance to legislation and minimise risk
• Perform financial processes to comply to relevant financial legislation including the MFMA
• Provide customer service orientation to promote and maintain client satisfaction
