We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant to join our growing marketing team.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you’ll manage ASG’s social media presence, help tell our story across platforms, and create content that inspires travellers around the world to explore Africa with us.
This is a fully remote position, ideal for someone who thrives in a creative, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Create and schedule daily posts using approved brand templates.
Customize visuals and copy for each platform (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter).
Monitor engagement, track performance, and share insights to improve results.
Proofread and publish blog articles aligned with our brand voice and SEO best practices.
Build and engage with our online community — replying to comments, joining conversations, and fostering authentic relationships.
Support digital marketing campaigns and content launches.
Stay on top of trends, platform updates, and emerging social opportunities.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong proofreading abilities.
Confident across all major social media platforms and scheduling tools.
Basic design experience (Canva or similar).
Familiar with SEO principles and content management systems (WordPress experience a plus).
Organized, creative, and able to manage multiple deadlines independently.
Passion for travel, storytelling, and bringing Africa’s beauty to life online.
