Social Media Coordinator at Newmark Hotels

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• 1 – 2 years experience in Social Media management
• Previous experience with hotels, lodges, and resorts advantageous
• Marketing or Media diploma/ equivalent preferable
• Ability to work in a pressurized environment.
• Excellent written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent Planning and Organisational skills
• Computer Literacy: Microsoft Word & Excel, Social Media Scheduling platforms, and design programs advantageous
• Strong copywriting skills – the ability to write for a digital audience.
• Must be able to work in a team or independently. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Posting/Scheduling content across social media accounts
• Write copy for social media posts across all channels i.e., Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Communicate with followers, respond to DM’s and comments promptly, and monitor customer reviews.
• Being on top of the latest social media trends
• Weekly content creation i.e. reels and stories
• Update social media elements across all channels on a monthly basis.
• Assist the Digital Content Manager with creating campaign-specific content for social media channels
• Work with a graphic designer to create elements for social media channels i.e. Banners, stories and digital adverts
• Assist the Digital Content Manager with influencer partnerships and brand collaborations across all channels
