Position Summary

The AssetWise family of products focus on providing solutions to companies, to enable them to improve their Engineering Information Management processes. AssetWise ALIM is widely used to complete asset lifecycle information system combining documents management, data management, and physical configuration management with proven workflow engine for controlling and managing change in the information to assure accuracy, completeness, and trusted by engineering infrastructure owners/operators.

The AssetWise developer is responsible for customising the core ALIM product to meet local standards and client specific requirements. AssetWise ALIM is a configurable application that can be extended through use of a highly customisable bespoke scripting language.

Your Day-to-Day

• Develop AssetWise ALIM configurations, including requirements clarification, design, configuration, solution implementation, test management and testing, documentation writing.
• Liaise with clients and users to collect detailed functional and technical requirements, and to provide resolution to technical issues.
• Design, build, implement, test and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable ALIM scripts.
• Design and Quality test code to achieve bug free development.
• Understand and use common data collection methods and protocols.
• Work with data from different systems (data profiling, transformation, import and visualization).
• Write technical documentation to support user specific ALIM implementations.

What You Bring To The Team

• At least (3 years’) commercial knowledge and experience in a .NET, ASP.NET and C# Environment and building backend windows and web services using C#.
• Knowledge of methodologies, design patterns and enterprise architecture includingObject-Oriented, SOLID, TDD, DDD, BDD and Unit testing frameworks.
• Experience developing database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Experience with source control management (git) and branching and version strategies.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Data modelling.
• Knowledge of web programming languages including HTML, JavaScript, CSS and ReactJS.
• Experience with Full Software Development Life Cycle practices and agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment solutions
• Good problem-solving skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, creativity, and team player.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal communication).
