Software Development Project Manager at Network Recruitment

Job & Company Description:

The client who is based in Johannesburg is looking for a talented Project Manager/Scrum Master to join their development team. You will be responsible for:

• Managing the entire TFS/Azure Devops system and provide excellent response times and solutions to customer requests. (Manage the documenting of all the customer complaints and work requirements, and the follow up with all parties; customer, staff member and manager of department, collating of outstanding TFS’s and compiling of report for management meetings).
• Establishing and maintaining key relationships with both the programming and customer support staff in providing TFS solutions.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and provide them with outstanding client support
• Additionally create and maintain a proactive support relationship with clients in order to engender an outstanding client support function.
• Provide statistics on incoming/outgoing and returned work.
• Monitor and control releases.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BSc, BIS, B.Com or B.Eng degree in Computer, Software, Information or Electronic related Sciences from a reputable university
• Project Management qualification
• Experience working in an Azure DevOps environment
• At least 3 years prior experience in the role of project manager within a software development environment
• Agile experience (Scrum Master or Product Owner) 
• Expert knowledge of MS Office and MS Project Applications
• Understanding on PMBOK and Prince 2
• Ability to manage a team
• Experience with financial systems
• Experience working with developers in a product/engineering team
• Experience working with roadmaps and tracking towards strategic, long-term goals of the business
• Good understanding of IT concepts and the SDLC
• Thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods
