Software Engineer: Full Stack (C#.NET) III at Capitec Bank

About the role:

• The Full Stack Software Engineer II is essential in a cross-functional team, handling the full software development lifecycle from concept to operation. They design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, ensuring scalability and performance. They also guide developers and stakeholders in resolving engineering problems.
• In addition to developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications to ensure optimal performance and great client experiences, the Full Stack Software Engineer III focuses on enhancing new and existing products, improving current systems, and providing support.
• The role will form part of our client onboarding for business banking, which includes the process of a new customer joining the bank and opening a transactional account. The team is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient account opening process.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Grade 12 National Certificate (Minimum)
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (preferred)
• 6 or more years’ proven experience as a Full stack Developer, project delivery and implementation (in relevant development technologies/language).
• Experience with modern frameworks and technologies.
• Has mentored junior developers
