Job description

•        Understanding scope of work, and criteria
•        Build test cases prior to starting to test
•        Write up specifications which take alternatives into account
•        Question specs, don’t take things at face value
•        Follow case, and document findings
•        Research on requirements (functionality, best practice, methodology)
•        Advise on user experience
•        Write up technical specification
•        Write up user documentation
•        Adhering to time frames
•        Support of colleagues, as and when necessary
•        Advising of possible risk scenarios / situations
•        Use tools provided (YouTrack, Test Complete, etc.)
•        Follow departmental procedures
•        Advising of possible risk scenarios / situations

Minimum requirements: (Qualifications and Experience)

•        Grade 12
•        B.Sc Information Science Degree or ISTQB certification
•        B Com degree including tax specialisation
•        3+ years of QA experience
•        3+ years regression testing experience
•        3+ years management experience
•        1+ years’ experience in writing business specifications
•        Product analysis experience
•        1+ years HR / Payroll / Time & Attendance or finance experience an advantage
