Software System Designer II (JP2840) at Ovations Technologies

• We are looking for an experienced Software Systems Solution Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a relevant Diploma or Certificate and a minimum of 5 years' experience in the IT industry.

Responsibilities:

• Use advanced technical skills to design and troubleshoot IT solutions for various products and businesses.
• Apply creative and innovative skills to develop and execute effective IT solutions.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders from different groups to identify alternative solutions to problems.
• Manage conflict situations and share information in different ways to increase stakeholders' understanding.
• Provide technical leadership, ensure operational efficiency and maintain credibility in the organization.
• Apply architectural thinking and demonstrate broad understanding of the end-to-end landscape with specialization in one or more domains.

Requirements:

• Certificate in relevant solution design methodologies where available.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Agile Estimation and Prioritization, Data Modeling, Design Patterns, Diagramming and Modeling, IT Application, IT Domain Knowledge, IT Knowledge, Software Quality Assurance, Systems Design, Trouble Shooting Ability, IT Feature/Product/Business Analysis, Requirements Analysis and Design Definition.
• Minimum of 5 years' IT experience, with proven application of creative and innovative skills.
• Strong technical acumen on how the technical landscape fits together.
• Senior Developer and Troubleshooting experience.
• Experience in end-to-end requirements traceability and systems analysis.
• Proven ability to manage conflict situations, share information in different ways and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Advanced skills in trouble-shooting, technical leadership and operational experience in technology/products.
