    Software Tester/Verifier - Modderfontein

    Job Description    
    Required outputs:

    Functional

    • Interact with development teams to develop a strong understanding of the product and testingobjectives.
    • Conduct software functions and changes implemented.
    • Attend software review meetings of functions implemented and changes made.
    • During the development process: Test firmware informally with designers to trap programming errorsbefore software is finalised and released.
    • During formal testing: Design test cases to uncover software errors.
    • Verify correct implementation of software and produce reports on the test results.
    • Ensure functional coverage in tests.
    • Prepare test plans, test procedures and reports on test results.

    Qualifications & Experience    
    Qualifications and expertise required (Must)

    • B.Eng. (Electronics) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or Equivalent.
    • 3 years’ work experience in development role with at least 2 years’ experience in thesoftware testing field.
    • Solid understanding of software quality assurance and processes.
