Solution Architect - SAP Technology Platforms at AES Africa

Job Summary

We are working with a leading international retail group with operations spanning across Sub- Saharan Africa. They are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect (SAP) to join their successful and growing team at their Cape Town head office.

As a SAP Solutions Architect, your main responsibility will be to create architectures for the SAP technology platforms in order to manage the IT landscapes and ensure an appropriate SAP technology portfolio. An incredible benefits and remuneration package on offer for the right candidate.

Duties:

• Provide input into the SAP Technology Strategy
• Develop and maintain SAP Technology strategies, standards and methodologies and design and solutions
• Produce well defined solution architecture
• Own and manage the SAP Technology roadmap, standardisation and policies
• Create architect solutions for the Software Development Life Cycle

Desirable Qualifications:

• Relevant degree
• TOGAF, ZACHMAN certified
• SAP certified (HANA 2.0, System Administration, System Security Architect)

Experience:

• 5+ years sound SAP technology systems and database
• 5 + years in Solutions Design & Architecture
• 2 + years Identification and formulation of technology architecture
• 5 + years’ in Networking, Data Centre, Storage, Compute Platforms, and ICT Management / Monitoring
• In depth knowledge of Virtualization technologies (Server, Desktop, Storage)
• Experience with enterprise scale SAP Technology migrations, upgrades and implementations
