Solution Architect at Vito Solutions

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an individual who is a technical leader with a deep understanding of business goals, business processes, and enterprise architecture, who works to conceptualize and assemble technology solution architecture designs to ensure that solutions meet business needs and are compatible with existing architectures.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

This individual will:

• Ensure compatibility between solutions and enterprise context. 
• Create architectural designs to guide and contextualize solution development. 
• Act as a bridge between technical and business audiences during solution development.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives, and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.
• Creates architectural designs to guide and contextualize solution development across products, services, projects, and systems (including applications, technologies, processes, and information).
• Leads evaluation, design, and analysis for the implementation of a solutions architecture across a group of specific business applications or technologies, based on enterprise business strategies, business capabilities, value streams, business requirements, and enterprise standards.
• Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Matric
• Tertiary education in related field

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 5 + years experience 

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

• TOGAF Certification
• Serverless Architecture
• Restful Architecture
