    Solution Consultant - Financials Pre Sales

If you’re an experienced Presales consultant, we are interested to make connections now, for our future growth. Workday is looking for an outstanding Financials Presales Solutions Consultant to support the continuing growth of our Financials business.  This is your chance to represent and sell the next generation of business technology platforms.

    Through interactive pre-sales discoveries, you will analyse an organisation's needs and demonstrate how Workday's technology differentiates from the competition and can address the customer’s requirements, solving their strategic business concerns with a special focus on Workday’s Financials capability.

Workday’s modern, cloud technical foundation and delivery model requires creative, passionate and compelling presales professionals to reflect the unique nature of the service.  


    • Articulating the value and expanding adoption of Workday Financials to different audiences, supporting complex and strategic deals across the region
    • Describing the functional capability of the Workday solution to executive, business and IT audiences and staying up to date with the latest solutions and industry trends
    • Reinforce the business value of Workday's Financial Management Solutions through creation of compelling presentations, demonstrations and value stories
    • Acting as a thought leader for all Financial Management topics such as General Ledger, Cash Management, Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Business Planning amongst others
    • Articulating the benefits other customers have achieved with their adoption of Workday
    • Collaborate with local, regional and global stakeholders to plan Go-To-Market and Business Development strategies and be a thought leader in this subject area for those teams
    • Interact with prospects at the highest levels (C-level) through executive meetings, discovery conversations, executive demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions
    • Maintain a close understanding and appreciation of competitive solutions
    • Support of Go-To-Market Strategies, Account & Business Planning 

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Expertise in interactive Pre-Sales discovery meetings, analysis of current operations and business needs; and development and presentation of cutting-edge, cloud-based Financial Management solutions in the Financial Services and Insurance industry vertical.
    • Expertise in Accounting Hub solutions, consolidations, and centralizing the creation of accounting entries.   
    • Unrivalled professional discovery, presentation, communication, and influencing skills to C-Level Executives, interfacing with and selling to the CFO specifically.
    • Expert knowledge of ERP Financial management software.
    • Deep knowledge of Core Accounting (GL, AR, AP, Budgeting).
    • Degree in Accounting preferred
