Solutions Architect at Companies & Intellectual Property Commission

Required Minimum Education/training:

• A 3-year qualification in the field of Information Technology, or
• An appropriate certification in business architecture

Required Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 2 year analysis and design experience
• Minimum of 2 years IT experience
• Minimum of 2years exposure to project management principles
• Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle
• Minimum of 2 year IT governance experience
• Minimum of 2 years programming experience in relevant technology

Key performance areas:

• Partner with the organisation to understand organisation and departmental strategy and agree on information systems solutions to meet the needs.
• Maintain an awareness of business solutions particularly in the area of innovation, collaboration, document management.
• Research and benchmark information systems that might benefit CIPC.
• Design, develop and implement technical solutions to promote innovation in CIPC.
• Provide post-implementation support for implemented solutions relating to Innovation and Collaboration efforts.
