Sourcing Specialist at Epiroc

Purpose

• The role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the continuous supply of quality raw materials, components, and services. This has significant impact on process efficiency, operational excellence deliverables, sustainability of our supply chain, as well as driving procurement and company culture and values.

Qualifications Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.

Knowledge &Experience

• Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in sourcing and procurement in which 2-3 years should be within manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Syspro) and procurement platforms.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, raw material sourcing, and production planning.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar software.
• Knowledge of contract negotiation, SLA management, and compliance standards.
• Experience with sustainability initiatives, B-BBEE compliance, and inclusive procurement.
