    Sous Chef – Tryn

    Role Overview:

    • As a Sous Chef at Tryn, you will work closely with our Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering high-quality cuisine. You will be responsible for assisting in menu development, supervising kitchen operations, and maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to the success of a renowned restaurant.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute seasonal menus that reflect our culinary vision.
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
    • Oversee food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation, to maintain consistency and excellence.
    • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, complying with health and safety regulations.
    • Assist in scheduling and managing kitchen staff to optimize productivity and workflow.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior position in a high-volume kitchen environment.
    • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff.
    • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
    • Creative flair and passion for experimenting with flavors and ingredients.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards.
    • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
