Specialist ABAP at PPC Africa

ROLE OVERVIEW:

• Ability to work on project and support concurrently.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical terms relevant to SAP to develop and assist with detailed technical design.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals.
• Demonstrated ability to remain effective and productive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and provide effective problem solving of Business requirements, assessing whether standard functionality can be used and identifying reasonable custom solutions where needed.
• Understanding of full life cycle ASAP or other development methodology.
• Ability and willingness to travel when required.
• Ability to provide after-hours support as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

• Matric, ITIL Foundations Certification
• Relevant Degree or Diploma
• ABAP Certified Professional 

EXPERIENCE: 

• Experience or exposure within an IT environment.
• Must have at least 3 years' hands-on ABAP development experience with custom ABAP development
• Knowledge and understanding of ERP Application Systems
• Experience in BAPI, IDOC/ALE, ALV, SAP Script, Smart Forms, RFC, ABAP objects, Enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversion, LSMW and dialog programs.
• Experience in SAP Fiori development and Workflow development would be advantageous.
• Exposure to the ITIL framework would be advantageous.
