    Specialist Commercial Management

    Role Profile

    The Specialist: Commercial Management role is based within the Regional Commercial Business Support division.
    The role of the Specialist: Commercial Management is to perform a management reporting function, commercial and statistical data analysis and business support to the Region.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Monitoring progress against strategy, perform detailed analyses of information and provide insights to support key decision making
    • Compile and prepare weekly and monthly management reporting packs with analysis, insights and recommendations
    • Compile and prepare detailed analysis and insights for Functional Regional reviews
    • Track and analyse KPI performance
    • Identify risks and perform deep-dive analysis of under-performing key indicators
    • Detailed County performance tracking and reporting by KPI (Revenue, customer base, channel, segment, connections, product & services)
    • Detailed Cluster performance tracking and reporting by KPI ((Revenue, customer base, channel, segment, connections, product & services)
    • Identify market opportunities, market sizing of opportunities aimed at increasing market share and revenue
    • Regional ad-hoc investigations and analyses
    • Operational cost control, analysis and management reporting


    Core Competencies And Knowledge

    • Good knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence system
    • Good working knowledge of Qliksense
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
    • Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint
    • Data mining proficiency and database management
    • Business analysis skills

    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    • Matric / Grade 12 is essential
    • 3 year Degree / Diploma (Information Systems, BComm) essential


    At Least 3-5 Years Relevant Working Experience Essential

    • Basic accounting and finance knowledge and experience desired
    • Work experience in the telecommunications industry


    The base location for this role is Century City, Cape Town.
