Your profile

• Mechanical Diploma/Degree.

• 5+ years relevant experience.

Your responsibilities

• Surveys and investigates the requirements on the technical solution, made from various aspects (customer, law, standards, technical analysis, etc.)

• Processes the requirements by analysis, structuring, and documentation in transparent form, incl. corresponding sources and stakeholders.

• Manages the requirements and maintains the documentation (requirements management).

• May check the requirements under formal aspects regarding completeness and unambiguousness.

• May check the content of requirements regarding comprehensibility, consistency, cross references, dependencies and later checkability (acceptance criteria).

• May support the verification of the requirement fulfilment in the execution phase in cooperation with quality management.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Fact finding

  • Develop inspection protocols / datasheets for manufacturing and refurbishment of rotating equipment.

  • Perform a thorough visual inspection of the component or components is question.

  • Recommend the appropriate repair scope based on the visual inspection, along with NDT, dimensional inspections and other inspections, based on the type of component or machine being inspected.

  • Write a comprehensive and concise fact-finding report.

  • Support costing and quotation based on the fact finding.

  • Providing necessary support to the workshop during execution of the repair scope.

• Applied technology / Reverse engineering

  • Supervise / manage the reverse engineering and design process.

  • Perform limited design validation.

  • Precision measurement, 3D scanning and probing.

  • Create CAD models of components.

  • Create and approve detailed drawings for manufacturing.

  • Check and review detailed design drawings.

• Develop comprehensive repair and manufacturing procedures and inspection protocols.

• Perform root cause analysis on failed or no-conforming components and systems.

• General Workshop support.

• Field service engineering support.

• Develop and approve QCP’s for repairs and manufacturing 

• Play an active role in digitalization of Engineering activities in the workshop.

• Implement latest manufacturing and repair technologies
