Specialist Regional Artisan - Maintenance at Orica

What you will be doing

• Performing site specialist support to the maintenance team on maintenance practice and problem solving.
• Keeping downtime to a minimum during site operation and eliminating unplanned stops;
• World Class safety and engineering practices executed on the ORICA sites;
• Processing necessary documentation on site and provide regular and clear feedback using feedback reports;
• Conducting root cause investigations and implementing countermeasures where needed;
• Conducting daily Plant inspections where needed with the operations and maintenance teams on sites.

What you will bring

• Grade 12 with a Minimum NQF 5 Electro-Mechanical qualification.
• Trade Test Certificate, Red seal Section 13;
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in explosive industry, specifically drill and blast environment in the maintenance & engineering field;
• Valid code 08 driver’s license;
• Ability to work independently
