Specialist Service Advisor (Technical) at Hyundai Automotive South Africa

Job Summary:

• We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Service Advisor (Technical) to join our team at Hyundai Alberton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to customers regarding their vehicle servicing and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering topnotch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
•  Listen to customer concerns and accurately determine the nature of their vehicle maintenance or repair needs
•  Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers on service and repair options
•  Estimate costs for repairs and maintenance services and communicate them clearly to customers
•  Schedule appointments for service and repairs, track progress, and communicate updates to customers
•  Liaise with the workshop team to ensure timely completion of service and repair jobs
•  Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional manner, aiming to achieve customer satisfaction

Qualifications and Skills:

•  At least 3 years of experience working as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership
•  Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•  Customer focused and able to deliver exceptional service
•  Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment
•  Proficient in using computer software and systems for estimating and tracking service orders
•  Valid driver's license
