SQL Developer at Derivco

We’re looking for a passionate, experienced and forward-thinking SQL Developer to join our Markets team, where you’ll have the opportunity to work with some of the latest technologies!

If coding for new and existing markets, rolling out features, working across multiple markets with all regulations and rules in mind sounds interesting to you and you can work with deadlines we are looking for you! Our ideal candidate would be someone who can work well under pressure and can context switch quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• To develop features and updates for our core market products with a focus on SQL development followed by C# development
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other project, product and IT teams across the business
• Contribute to ensuring an appropriate software design in conjunction with the Tech lead and in accordance to best practice
• Come up with appropriate estimates
• Attend and contribute to daily stand ups
• Create tasks in Azure
• Complete Code reviews
• Test software
• Create and maintain documentation
• Provide occasional product support
• Tech Stack Required:

The Essentials:

• SQL Development in Microsoft SQL Server
• C# - WebAPI’s
• Working experience with GIT
• Working experience with Dot Net Core

The “Nice to Have’s”

• Azure DevOps
• C# - Windows Services

Experience Required:

• At least 3 years’ experience in Microsoft SQL Server database development
• At least 3 years’ experience in C# development across multiple projects
• Ideally a Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or if not, certifications in Software Development by Microsoft or other providers covering C# and SQL
