They are currently looking for a SQL Developer to join their team in Cape Town. You will responsible for supporting, developing and enhancing complex ETL processes with a critical focus on accuracy and performance. You will be maintaining and developing objects in MS SQL Server Databases as well as handling queries and resolving any issues that may arise in the processing of high-volume transactional data.

To apply, you need to have a 3-year Diploma in Information Systems coupled with 5+ years’ experience with MS SQL/Transact SQL and working with high-volume transactional data.

You need to have experience developing database schemas, and creating stored procedures and other processes that utilise SSIS and other ETL.

It will be highly beneficial if you have:

• Experience or exposure with SQL server on AWS (Amazon EC2, Amazon EBS, Amazon RDS, etc);
• Experience with other relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc;
• C#/.Net experience; and,
• Retail or financial services (particularly financial transactions and reconciliation data) experience.
