Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
Experience:
Grade 1: None.
Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC.
Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years’ appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC.
Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work shifts, night duty, including weekends, public holidays as well as overtime. Willingness to assist in the other wards in the hospital and at the clinics in the Sub-district when needed.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication and interpersonal relationships. Self- discipline and motivation. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work in a team across the service platforms.
DUTIES :
Development and implementation of basic patient care. Provide basic clinical nursing care. Effective utilization of physical and financial resources. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self- development. Take actions to improve quality of nursing care. Participate in infection prevention and control.
