Staff Nurse: Professional Services (Clanwilliam) , Ref No. DSD 27/2025 R1 at Western Cape Social Development

Job Purpose    

• The Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for suitably qualified and competent individual to provide quality basic nursing care services under the supervision of a Professional Nurse within the scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and Charter of Nursing Practice.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 1: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse; Registration with the SANC as Enrolled Nurse.
• Grade 2: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse; Registration with the SANC as Enrolled Nurse; A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as Enrolled Nurse.
• Grade 3: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse; Registration with the SANC as Enrolled Nurse; A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as Enrolled Nurse.
