To review, document and implement testing protocols for equipment, components, safety procedures e.g. Planned Task Observations (PTOs), Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) etc. to uphold compliance with relevant International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and Sandvik global standards.
Key Performance Areas:
Analyze and improve workshop operations by evaluating current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing new methods.
Collaborate with stakeholders and departments to align process improvements with operational needs and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Train staff and stakeholders on updated methodologies and support change management initiatives.
Conduct audits and assessments, monitor effectiveness, and compile action plans with timely delivery.
Leverage data and analytics to drive cost-saving measures and enhance business intelligence.
Maintain stakeholder relationships and participate in meetings to support continuous improvement.
Document process changes and stay informed on industry trends and global standards.
Your Profile:
Diploma in Industrial Engineering (NQF Level 6)
Advantageous
Trade Certificate in Millwright/Fitting/Electrical/Diesel Mechanic
Degree in Industrial Engineering (NQF Level 7)
2-3 years Trackless Mining Machines (TMM) mining including breakdown experience
Understanding of customer service and mining industry.
Good understanding of relevant legislation and/or standards eg, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, ISO 9001 etc.
Business administration experience
Technical and failure report writing skills
Experience in conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis
