Minimum Requirements

• An appropriate 3-year National Diploma on NQF Level 6 (equivalent or higher qualification) in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field; A minimum of 1 year relevant experience in management accounting, budgeting, or a financial project management environment.

• Provide Budget Planning and Preparation; Provide Budget Support and Financial Control; Calculate Adjustments Estimate and Main Budget Development; Maintain Financial Governance, Compliance and Stakeholder Support; Departmental detail monthly reporting to detect and incorrect/misclassification of SCOA allocations. 

Competencies

• Knowledge of the following: Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations; Management accounting principles (budgeting, monitoring and reporting); Government financial systems (e.g. BAS, LOGIS, SCOA); Applicable legislative, regulatory and governance frameworks; Financial analysis, data management and reporting methodologies.
