Minimum Educational Qualification:
General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7).
Duties
Effective application of the sterilization process and techniques, promote/adhere to infection control practices, as well as health and safety regulations. Decontaminate, pack, and sterilize instruments and linen supplies. Assist with maintaining, cleaning, and testing sterilization equipment, washing machines, autoclaves to ensure all equipment is in an optimum working condition. Using all resources/consumables cost-effectively. Monitor, control and maintain adequate stock levels, report and assist with investigations of broken equipment / lost items. Lifting and pushing heavy equipment.
