About you

• As the Stock Control Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, optimizing warehouse processes, and ensuring the seamless flow of products through our warehouse.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory count including; stock on hold, outstanding orders and Specialised Queries.
• Implement effective inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
• Regularly reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Active monitoring of outstanding or delayed orders.
• Working closely with Specialised Queries for issues related to order fulfilment

Process Optimisation:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement on picking floor.
• Implement changes and improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize stock movement, picking procedures, and order packing.

Team Management:

• Train and mentor team on picking floor and in Specialise Queries.
• Ensure that optimised processes are implemented and maintained.
• Provide guidance, training and mentorship to ensure team members are performing at their best.

Quality Assurance:

• Manage the replacements and replenishments of stock on picking shelves.
• Maintain accurate stocktake records.

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

• Completed Degree
• Experience in warehousing and inventory management advantageous
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Be proactive in problem solving
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to deliver results through implementation of process improvements
• Strong Management skills
• Good Excel skills
