    Stock Controller

    Job Specification

    • Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, the incumbent would be responsible for the control of stock and ensures that the right stock levels are maintained within authorised parameters. Liaises with sales managers and branches on all matters relating to the disposal of stock.

    Minimum Requirements

    • National Diploma (Supply Chain)
    • 4 years’ related experience
    • Blue Yonder (JDA) Planning experience will be an advantage
    • Computer literacy: MS Office (Skilled in Excel)
    • Driver’s License & own transport

    • Analysing stock ageing per category
    • Interpreting stock related data analytics
    • Selecting and executing remedial action to reduce aged stock across the business
    • Executing aged stock remedial actions across the Group

    Optimisation

    • Optimising the aged stock profile of the business
    • Monitoring the execution of remedial actions and reporting progress
    • Interacting with branch managers regarding the execution of aged stock reduction/disposal initiatives
    • Engaging with Demand Planning to eliminate the replenishment of slow-moving stock

    Leveraging Culture & Diversity

    • Maintain internal & external stakeholder relations
    • Utilise stakeholder networks for new business opportunities

    Digital Transformation

    • Using digital technologies to initiate remedial actions to reduce aged stock
