Job Description    

• Join Lactalis at our plant in Eastern Cape Port Elizabeth Plant and take on an exciting opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in an FMCG operational environment. You will be handling the products received and dispatched by stores.

Required Skills    

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Official Stock Training At least 3 Years’ experience in a maintenance environment
• Computer Literacy
• Must be physically strong and fit
• Must be able to do basic calculations
• Good communication skills
• Strong administration skills
• Willing to work long hours, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Duties & Responsibilities    
• Receive and send spares/ goods as needed
• Receive order on BPCS
• Keep important information updated on computer
• Assist in keeping Pragma information updated and functioning properly
• Assist in problems solving regarding invoices and credit applications
• Stock control in the lubrication, motor, pipe and general spares stores
• Stock of critical spares
• Correct assignment of stock
• Availability of general spares
• Assist the maintenance planner with shutdowns and projects
• Ensure that replacement spares specifications are same as original
• Budget control
• Communication between customer and supplier
