Stores Controller at Profile Personnel

Job Description

• Join a well-established company seeking an energetic and analytical Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the consumable store. This role is ideal for someone with strong inventory management experience, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining accurate stock control in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient store operations and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the receiving, inspection and accurate recording of incoming stock.
• Manage inventory control, stock issuing and distribution processes.
• Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Supervise and support store personnel to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.
• Coordinate store activities while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Completed tertiary qualification (minimum NQF 5) in Logistics, Warehousing or a related field with 3–4 years' stores/warehouse experience, or 10 years' proven experience in a stores/warehouse environment.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with an excellent attendance and disciplinary record.
• Experience using Fourth Shift ERP will be advantageous.
