    Superintendent

    Requirements

    • Construction Trade Certificate
    • Five (5) years’ relevant maintenance management experience
    • Proven supervisory skills/experience
    • Required to work in all weather conditions
    • Required to work outside normal working hours during emergencies and planned overtime
    • Required to be on standby
    • The incumbent must be prepared to enter confined areas and work at elevated positions
    • Computer literacy in MS Office and SAP
    • Valid Code EB Driver’s licence.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Plan, prioritise and schedule maintenance projects and maintenance work
    • Manage personnel performance, productivity and discipline
    • Monitor and evaluate progress with regards to repairs, construction, installation and maintenance type work.
    • Perform specific administrative tasks associated with the updating and maintaining records related to the activities and operations at the Depot.
