Your responsibilities
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Setup, program, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills independently
• Application of good practices and reduction in setup time and machining through process improvements.
• Understands, interprets and edits Siemens, Haas Fanuc and Heidenhain programming.
• Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, feed, speeds, fixtures and tooling.
• Perform preventative and regular maintenance on machines, equipment and tools used in all processes.
• Troubleshoot machining problems during processes to ensure efficiency of procedure.
• Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
• Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures.

What you must bring

• Trade qualification in Machining
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the heavy engineering industry
• Proven experience with EdgeCam CNC software, including 5-axis machining
• Programming experience on Siemens, Haas, Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
• Experience in 3D measuring
• Strong technical ability
• Computer literacy
• Ability to troubleshoot CNC equipment and CNC programs
• Experience operating, setting and machining on conventional machines (lathe, milling, etc.)
