    Supervisor ETD Fitting

    Minimum Required Qualification:

    • Valid recognised Trade Certificate obtained through a formal learnership apprentice ship within Fitting

    The Appointee should:

    • Minimum of 5 years appropriate experience in an Engineering Artisan Capacity
    • Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
    • Clear security screening record.
    • Valid driver’s license

    Advantageous Qualifications:

    • Assessors Certificate
    • Moderator Certificate
    • Engineering Supervisors Certificate
    • ETD Practitioner’s Certificate Level 3

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Technical Training Management Implement, Manage, Coordinate and Facilitate Fitting Training, according to designed materials, practices, methodology and company procedures to improve competency levels within the organisation. Implement QCTO/NAMB/SETA and QMS (ISO9001:2015) accreditation to ensure compliance. Compile Training Reports as per requirements.
    • Stakeholder Relations Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and crossfunctionally. Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders. Sourcing, contracting, and negotiating with service providers. Liaising with the necessary entities on any environmental management related requirements and alignment where applicable. Collaborating with external service providers regarding the design and implementation of tools to enhance processes.
    • Financial Management Assist with cost saving initiatives to reduce operational costs
    • Building a values-based organisational culture Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment.
    • ESG Compliance Align to international responsible mining principles. SA Gold Operations: Align to legal requirements SA PGM Operations: Align to legal requirements US PGM Operations: Align to legal requirements
    • Corporate Governance and Business Ethics Ensure adherence and compliance with legal requirements to support organisation's code of conduct, corporate governance, and ethics guidelines
    • SHE Compliance Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment. Participate in risk assessments and investigate and take appropriate action as per identified risks. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. SHE Management: Instil a culture of SHE leadership within the department. Adhere to SHE principles within the Technical Training (Engineering) in line with Unit objectives to monitor compliance to Operational Health and Safety requirements. Facilitate risk assessments and take appropriate action to eliminate/mitigate risk exposures Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. Quality Management System (QMS): Comply with requirements of the Quality Management System. Implement documentation and systems within the Quality Management System (QMS) to improve effectiveness and
    • Focus on safe production & operational excellence Focus on safety and health as well as operational excellence Improve our position on global industry cost curve
    • People Management Provide coaching and on-the-job training to reporting staff. Manage performance and development of reporting staff. Ensure fair work allocation for team members. Inspire team members towards high performance
