Under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Housekeepers, this role is responsible for managing the daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house areas. The position ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service are consistently maintained in line with One&Only brand standards, while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
The role oversees housekeeping staff, coordinates daily operations, ensures rooms are serviced and inspected within established timelines, and monitors compliance with operational procedures and service standards. It is also responsible for supervising contract cleaning services, reporting maintenance issues, managing inventory and stock levels, supporting staff scheduling, and ensuring all housekeeping employees receive appropriate training and performance coaching.
In addition, the position handles guest concerns promptly and professionally, implements continuous improvements to enhance guest satisfaction, prepares operational reports, maintains health and safety compliance, and promotes effective communication and teamwork across departments. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, maintain high professional standards, and perform additional duties as required to support the efficient operation of the hotel.
