Supply Chain Analyst - Cape Town at Mulilo

About this role

The Supply Chain Analyst role is an independent role within the procurement team responsible for systems, reporting and forecasting. The role will come to life with a candidate that takes ownership and initiative to find innovative ways to improve the performance of supply chain.

Duties and responsibilities 

• Establish the roadmap for digitalization working towards a supply chain control tower.
• Critically review workflows and systems, and find ways to optimize.
• Be the system champion and train super users.
• Secure market intelligence to build a cost roadmap, including commodity forecast.
• Implement standardized project and corporate reporting structures.
• Use power apps to have standardized data capturing.
• Set up and maintain Power BI reports.
• Creating tools for the team to use for example resource controlling.
• Support the department during high workload periods by expediting tasks.

Required skills and education background.

• A degree in one of the following disciplines: mathematical science, analytics, supply chain
• 2 years’ experience working as part of Supply Chain environment, preferably project environment.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with systems such as D365, SharePoint, Power apps and other EPC tools or systems.
• Microsoft certification will be an advantage.
• Python script or other coding certification/abilities will be an advantage.
