Supply Chain Management Clerk, Ref No. LG 22/2022 at Western Cape Government

Job Purpose    
The Department of Human Settlements, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to provide efficient and effective supply chain management in the department. This post is based in Cape Town, CBD.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification)

Recommendation    

• Working knowledge of the following: Logistical Information System (LOGIS); Electronic Procurement Solution (EPS).

Key Performance Areas    

• Provide an efficient and effective acquisition management; Provide efficient and effective Electronic Procurement Solution (EPS) administration;
• Assist with bid and contract management function;
• Reporting on supply chain management information.

Competencies    

• A good understanding of the following: Supply Chain Management; Public Finance Management Act (PFMA); National Treasury Regulations and Procurement and Finance related prescripts; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Conflict management; Computer literacy; Communication skill (written and verbal).

Remuneration    

• R 176 310 per annum (Salary level 5)
